Fuck this shit! First they give Arizona law enforcement the right to stop anyone has long as they can justify “reasonable suspicion”. Next they want to rid off teachers that have Spanish accents from teaching English in schools. Next they want to ban ethnic studies from schools because they think that it might exclude a particular group. Now they’re modifying a mural at an elementary school, painting the faces of African American and Latino students lighter. This was due to the fact that people were driving pass by and yelling racial epithets at the mural. The administration of this school is appeasing to racism. Simply that. Whatever they say to justify such actions are bulllshit. Desmond Tutu once said, “If you are neutral in situations of injustice, you have chosen the side of the oppressor. If an elephant has its foot on the tail of a mouse and you say that you are neutral, the mouse will not appreciate your neutrality”. This isn’t even an act of neutrality, the principal is straight up bowing down — basically sucking Racism’s d***.
